Nex 7: lovely, but the sensor overheats too early!
It's now a week I am taking pictures with my new Nex 7. A lovely camera. However I read in a forum today that somebody experienced a overheating sensor. So I tried to make a movie: when the camera was cold an icon appeared warning that the sensor was overheating after about 15 minutes.

Sony NEX-7 Review
The NEX-7 definitely shook up the market when it was first released, thanks to its rich feature set, small form factor, unique design / ergonomics and a very high resolution 24 MP sensor that had no competitor in the mirrorless market.

Sony Alpha NEX-7
The Sony Alpha NEX-7 ($1,349.99 direct with 18-55mm lens) is the company's top-end mirrorless interchangeable lens camera . Whereas the entry-level NEX-C3 ($649.99, 4.5 stars), our Editors' Choice for under-$1,000 mirrorless cameras, is targeted at point-and-shoot users looking for better image...
Pros:
- Compact body
- 24-megapixel resolution
- Articulating LCD
- Crisp OLED EVF
- Built-in flash
- 1080p60 video recording
Cons:
- So-so kit lens
- Proprietary hot shoe
- Not as good at high ISO as other NEX cameras
- Easy to start recording video unintentionally

Sony Alpha NEX-7
To draw a conclusion: Sony's Alpha NEX-7 is a camera that does a lot of good things. And it has few drawbacks. Advanced photographers will like it.

Sony NEX-7 24.3Mp APS-C compact system camera
Sony's NEX-7 is its flagship Compact System Camera that's been graced with advanced features to justify the high-end price tag for a pocketable interchangeable lens model. Indeed this 24.3Mp APS-C shooter with a built-in OLED electronic viewfinder plus tilting LCD and full manual control, is...

Best ILC on the Market!
This camera is listed as a DSLR in the product title - this is false. This is not a single lens reflex camera; the camera is an ILC (see pros), with an APS-C sensor (same sensor found on mid-range DSLRs). The viewfinder is electronic.
Pros:
- 24.3 MP ILC - interchangeable lens camera APS-C sensor Compact form factor Viewfinder Decent battery life
Cons:
- There's some loss of image clarity in very low light situations that I've noticed does not occur with my friend's D7000
- but other than that I've found no real cons

Review: Sony NEX-7
The 24-megapixel APS-C sensor inside Sony's NEX-7 produced the best stills and videos of the compact system cameras we tested this summer (2012), with details that held up even when we zoomed all the way in.
Pros:
- One of the most customizable models on the market
- Sparkling 1080p video at 60 fps
Cons:
- Software menu is a bit of a dog's breakfast
- Flimsy pop-up flash
- At least 0 too expensive

Sony NEX-7 review
The next step in Sony's evolution of its NEX interchangeable-lens-but-no-bulky-internal-mirror camera system is technically brilliant.

Sony NEX-7 camera
In May, 2012 I received the Sony NEX-7 camera as a graduation gift. I absolutely love it! The frame is slightly bigger than the NEX-5 but the features more than make up for it. The quality of the images are amazing, the auto shoot mode works well for many situations and the manual options allow any...
