Dust on the image sensor leads to blemishes in the picture. To protect the sensor, Sony incorporates an advanced ultrasonic system, which effectively shakes dust off the sensor surface.

Camera works good. The battery that came with is only good for about 50 shots then it dies. It will not hold a charge even when not being used. Very disappointing.

NEX-7 a camera
Using since 2 years. For an amatauer photographer like me, very easy to use. Excellent results. Some of my pictures were much liked on panapramio.

Sony Alpha NEX-7

Easy to use! Light and portable!
I just bought this camera for my wife and so far she has enjoyed using it. There's still many options she hasn't discovered but there is plenty of tutorials and tips on how to use this camera online. A good start is youtube. The bag that comes with the camera is an excellent travel companion.

- Poor in Low Light

Sony NEX-7
This is my second NEX-7, I liked my first one enough that I bought a second to keep as backup. When they first came out, there was an issue of the number of quality lenses for it, now from ultra wide-angle to long telephoto, there are enough quality lenses to satisfy most anyone.
Pros:
- Excellent viewfinder
- Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus
- Good Image Quality
- Good Image Stabilization
- Small Size

- Short Battery Life

Sony has been a little slow to bring out lenses which can stand up to the quality of the sensor in this camera. But with good glass from any manufacture via adapters I have managed to get some of the best images I have ever taken. I changed over from a Canon 5D mark II and prime lenses. Apart...

Love it
Very good camera. Has a lot of features which may be good for someone who is familiar with digital pictures. Could be confusing for someone who looking for a simple point and shot camera. The lenses are amazing and lighter then my prior SLR camera.
