LOVE THE SONY NEX-7
I sold my Canon 5D Mark iii (my dream camera) and bout the NEX-7 along with the 10-18mm lens and the 55-210mm lens. I am getting the same quality end results as I did with my Canon in a MUCH SMALLER & LIGHTER PACKAGE! After just 2 weeks I have shot 2500 exposures wit it.
Pros:
- Easy To Use
- Good Image Quality
- Good Image Stabilization
- High ISO Performance
- Large Clear LCD
- Small light
Cons:
- Short Battery Life

Wrong video system for my camera
I got this one with the new Zeiss lens SEL1670z. I found the flashlight will never "automatically" pop up. You have to make the choice first before the shot. It is good or bad, depends.

Great camera!
I still fun of Nikon, but have mentioned that last year I more and more often change my Nikon D700/D3/D3X/D3S to Sony N5/C3. Main reason - compact size and weight of NEX system and very good quality of pictures. And now I have bought N7 and decided that will not buy D4 or D800.

Sony Alpha NEX-7 Review
Without doubt, the 24.3-megapixel NEX-7 is one of the most lusted after cameras in years. It sold for $1,000 over list on eBay when it initially came out, but now has settled down to more realistic levels. That said, forget any thought of a discount.
Pros:
- Outstanding stills
- Excellent noise-handling characteristics
- Attractive
- compact design
- Sharp
- bright 3-inch LCD display
- Ample lens options
Cons:
- Expensive, GUI has a definite learning curve, No built-in IS
- requires lens with OIS

Sony has been a little slow to bring out lenses which can stand up to the quality of the sensor in this camera. But with good glass from any manufacture via adapters I have managed to get some of the best images I have ever taken. I changed over from a Canon 5D mark II and prime lenses. Apart...

Sony Alpha NEX-7
The Sony NEX-7 is the flagship model in Sony's NEX compact system camera (CSC) range that also includes the NEX-5N, NEX-C3, along with the original NEX-5 and NEX-3. More than any Sony CSC to date though, the NEX-7 is aimed squarely at serious photography enthusiasts.

- Continuous AF in movie mode
Cons:
- Bracketing limited to +/-0.3 or +/-0.7EV
- Poor menu layout and organisation
- Movie button easy to accidentally press
