Yes it is pricey but it is worth it. I had only the soundbar and 2 one speakers to create my surround sound before and I was shocked by the difference adding the sub made!

This quality sub is almost an essential blend w. the sonos system. The system auto-calibrates itself and this allows and Play1's to go louder as they are not trying to put out nearly as much low end. This sub blends very smoothly wit the system....

This sub is really good for its size. The way it is designed you can place it almost anywhere because it is so small and slender. When connected to the Sonos PlayBar it rumbles out some good solid Bass.

I bought this SUB to compliment the (2) PLAY: 5s that I have as my computer speakers. It's waaay too much sound to have right in my face, but I also use them for whole room sound. I'm kind of a basshead for my car systems, but my home system has an emphasis on quality over quantity.

A Little Pricey

Excellent product. Having a Playbar, Play 5 and several Play 1's I wanted to complete my system with the sub. The product is expensive but once you have listened to the sound it produces working with the Playbar it is brilliant. Very powerful piece o f kit and a smart looking product.
