If there's one thing you could be sure of/ in AV, it's that subwoofers are big, ugly and difficult to position correctly. We say 'could' because Sonos has just changed that with its SUB, the first subwoofer that we'd actually be proud of displaying.

I bought this alongside the Sonos playbar and 2 Sonos One as part of a 5.1 setup. It cost a bit more than I usually spend but the ease of setup and quality audio is well worth it. By far the best system I've ever had, great for watching films as the clarity of highs can still be picked out with the...
Had the SONOS Sound Bar for my TV & music & thought the bass output was quite poor, so invested in this sub & what a difference it make,s though it is a bit larger than expected. (Didn't check the measurements) Bass is now as it should be with no reverberation & with the sound bar handling the mid...
This quality sub is almost an essential blend w. the sonos system. The system auto-calibrates itself and this allows and Play1's to go louder as they are not trying to put out nearly as much low end. This sub blends very smoothly wit the system....
Sonos is a pioneer in the wireless audio market - its entire focus is on simple, powerful, high-quality music systems that connect over a home Wi-Fi network, access a huge range of music services, and allow control from a smartphone.
Seamless integration with Sonos systems; Excellent bass; Versatile setup options
Expensive; Requires other Sonos components
Sonos, maker of a variety of excellent multi-room music systems, has added a high-end bottom end to its line up of powered speakers – the $999 Sonos Sub . More than just a subwoofer, the Sub incorporates into existing powered Sonos configurations to add a rich bottom end to your streaming music.
Interacts intelligently with other Sonos units; easy to set up; offers crisp and defined bass
May not be necessary with great speakers
When the first Wireless System was launched we were impressed. Now the US Company has gone one step further with a subwoofer that can be managed using software on a tablet, smartphone or PC. The output and the experience that this device delivers takes owning a subwoofer to a whole new level.
Exquisite design; Delivers serious bass; Wireless management
The big letdown is the price; $300 dearer than the USA
Sonos is badass with its brainless setup, seamless backend that affords easy access to all of your music, and good sound from its standalone, networked, jukeboxe-y Zone Players. Notice the term "good sound". Not great sound.
Sonos music system owners already have a deep love for the product but the new subwoofer which can be wirelessly integrated into set-up will make them love it even more. The Sonos Sub looks like a large letter "o" and can be positioned upright or on its side.
Sits in the room only when it needs too.. otherwise the girls would play with it.. Packed away when not needed.. No cables, no mess just brilliance!
