Sonos Sub

The Sonos Sub provides an instant upgrade to your Sonos Play speaker system, but it's quite pricey.

The, has a unique, eye-catching design and its wireless function works from anywhere in a room (though it does have to be plugged in); It really augments the sound of your Play speakers and the setup is a breeze

Its finish doesn't match any other Sonos components and the Sub doesn't work as well with the Connect: Amp; It's expensive and won't work outside of a Sonos system

Sonos SUB Review: Lots Of Bang, Lots Of Bucks

Sonos is badass with its brainless setup, seamless backend that affords easy access to all of your music, and good sound from its standalone, networked, jukeboxe-y Zone Players. Notice the term "good sound". Not great sound.

Sonos Sub review

It's a lot to pay for a subwoofer that can't be used with non-Sonos hardware. If you can swing the cost, though, you'll get a tremendous boost to sound quality that integrates smoothly with a full Sonos network.

Deep; tight bass; Easy setup; Unique design

Very expensive; Can't be used with non-Sonos gear; Dust magnet

Sonos Sub

Sonos, the company behind the multi-room wireless music system, has launched a wireless subwoofer to fit into any room, promising to boost the performance of the company's range of zone players instantly. But can it really be that easy?

Good bass; good design; easy setup

Big; expensive; maybe too loud

Sonos SUB review

If there's one thing you could be sure of/ in AV, it's that subwoofers are big, ugly and difficult to position correctly. We say 'could' because Sonos has just changed that with its SUB, the first subwoofer that we'd actually be proud of displaying.

When the first Wireless System was launched we were impressed. Now the US Company has gone one step further with a subwoofer that can be managed using software on a tablet, smartphone or PC. The output and the experience that this device delivers takes owning a subwoofer to a whole new level.

Exquisite design; Delivers serious bass; Wireless management

The big letdown is the price; $300 dearer than the USA

Sonos Sub review

Our verdict on the Sonos Sub is tricky. On one hand you've got a mouth-wateringly expensive accessory for an already pricey range of products. On the other, you've got a truly brilliant piece of audio engineering that will transform turn your living room into a super club.

Simple set up; Great industrial design; Superb bass balance

Sonos Sub adds big bass presence

Sonos, maker of a variety of excellent multi-room music systems , has added a high-end bottom end to its line up of powered speakers--the $699 Sonos Sub . More than just a subwoofer, the Sub incorporates into existing powered Sonos configurations to add a rich bottom end to your streaming music.

Sonos SUB Reviewed; It Brings "Soul-Shaking Sound and Heart-Pounding Design"

If there is one line of products with which I have been totally enamored it is the Sonos system I purchased a bit over a year ago. To recall my experience with Sonos: I had long been interested in the company and their wireless audio system, but I had never actually seen or heard one in action.

Simple setup; Visually impressive; Flexible and can be laid on its side, placed vertically or even placed under a couch; Adds a HUGE amount of bass and overall depth to an existing Sonos system

Pricey; Requires you to already have a Sonos system in place; Large size means it will not be ideal for small spaces; A few minutes with it and your "old" Sonos system will seem "less than
