I love the idea of not using plastic water bottles, so I bought the Soda Stream and any number of different flavors to add to my nightly cocktail. The taste is awful! There's a strange taste that I can't identify. Anyone have any suggestions for diet flavorings, i.e.

Since the Soda Stream hit the market m wife and i considered purchasing one due to we both love seltzer. We were both skeptical about making our own. Wow, were we wrong. If considering buying one, do it now. It makes seltzer way better than the store bought brands.

If you were a child of the 80s, then SodaStream is probably firmly lodged in your subconscious. You either wanted one, or weren't allowed to use it, or in your haste to get to the fizz, forgot to install the water bottle properly and sprayed your kitchen, much to your parent's annoyance.

Variety of flavours; easy to use; kids will go mad; flavours are pretty good

Bottles not dishwasher friendly; no way of trying before you buy - if the flavours don't work for you; you'll never use it

This product is very easy to use, it looks great in my kitchen and the variety of drink concentrates for it are brilliant. It has saved us lots of money on buying various fizzy drinks. Would definitely recommend this product.

Excellent product, Christmas gift. Our own unit has worked well for several years. Only exploded once or twice, and that was our fault. Only reason not 5 stars is that the compresed air to refill it is so expensive- A full $20 for a recycled can of compressed air, even after the cylinder exchange.

No more stock pilling pop for the summer or for parties. I can now make pop on the fly. How much I want when I want it.
