We were reluctant to purchase this item (mainly due to the price) but unfortunately was the only option that was supposed to work with Shopify POS. Fortunately, so far, so good almost 1 month in. It scans all of our barcodes and even some that a previous scanner on an old system didn't pick-up. Still, it's hard to value it at this price....

They have improved the designs of these from a few years ago, it feels much tougher and heavier then the old models so that's nice. i did have to reset the device using the manual from the manufacturers website to get it to work on my ipad though. Does not come with a charging brick, just a usb cable.
