Skullcandy Sesh Evo True Wireless review

These budget wireless earbuds might pride themselves on being simple, but it's at the cost of mediocre sound, build quality and basic controls. Tile tracking is the big selling point here.

Affordable; Tile tracker integration; Battery life;

Thin sound; Cheap plastic feel; Fiddly controls;

Skullcandy Sesh Evo Review

We’re finally seeing affordable true wireless earbuds of decent quality, but there's still plenty of room more. At $59.99, Skullcandy's Sesh Evo earphones manage to stand out not so much by virtue of their excellence, but because the field just isn't very crowded. The earphones offer modest water resistance and powerful bass depth, with a boosted, sculpted sound signature that low-end lovers will appreciate, and three switchable EQ modes. But the best feature here is ultimately the price.Design Available in black, blue, green, or red, the Sesh Evo’s earpieces are tiny, lightweight, and come with three pairs of silicone eartips (in S, M, L) to help them stay in place for a secure and comfortable fit. Internally, 6mm drivers deliver a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz, with a 32-ohm impedance. The charging case is fairly compact, with an eggshell-like finish, a flip-top lid, and status LEDs on the front face that tell you how much battery life is left. There’s a USB-C port on the rea...

The wire-free Skullcandy Sesh Evo earphones offer decent audio for a low price.

Powerful audio performance with boosted bass and crisp highs; EQ modes for film, music, and podcasts; Affordable

Skull Candy Sesh Evo to use in motorbike helmet

I bought these to try and use while in a motorbike helmet. They were way more comfortable than the airpods, and i can answer calls and be heard while riding. Great quality for price

Good enough for the price

Pros -Sounds good -Small easy to carry around Cons -half charge or sometimes not charging inside the case. (Buds) -sudden Bluetooth disconnection I have it for almost 2 months now. But I dont recommend. Saw many issues about the charging

Reasonably ok - sporadic failures

Have had periods where the earbuds discharge fully in the case; and unable yet to confirm if this is standard behaviour.

Worth the price

Stays on well enough (that's saying something since i got small ears and not alot of earphones fit comfortably for me). Charge time lasts for ages but only problem I have is for some reason it doesn't charge automatically and I'm left with half-charged earphones when I need it. Other than that, sound is pretty good and not to mention it doesn't cost as much as the more mainstream earphones.

Skullcandy SESH EVO True Wireless Earbuds - Chill Grey S2TVW-N744 review

The Skullcandy Sesh Evo are okay for mixed usage. They're sturdy-feeling and stable enough to wear during workouts. They have a bass-heavy sound profile that'll keep you pumped up when you're on-the-go. However, their audio delivery is a little too unbalanced for neutral listening.

Stable fit., Dense plastic build., Good passive noise isolation., Consistent audio delivery.

Poor microphone noise handling capability., Relatively short continuous battery life., High wireless latency on PC and iOS devices., Mediocre microphone recording quality.

Skullcandy SESH EVO True Wireless Earbuds - Chill Grey S2TVW-N744 review

Skullcandy's cheapest completely wireless earbuds Skullcandy Sesh Evo have rhythmically enough bass, and sound pretty good. When set correctly.

Energetic bass, works for training. Movie sound mode sounds pretty good.

Missing details, especially in the overtones. Default setting sounds woolly. Poor call quality.
