Skullcandy Hesh 2 Wireless

If you like the idea of a boosted bass in Bluetooth headphones, but want more high-mid/treble presence to balance things out, the Jabra Move Wireless , the Sennheiser MM 100 , and the Sony MDR-ZX770BT all offer solid audio with varying levels of bass/treble balance.

Strong, distortion-free audio with robust bass; Includes cable for passive, wired listening

Sound can seem overly sculpted, and not as crisp as it should be; Can get uncomfortable during long listening periods

Skullcandy's new release of the Hesh 3 wireless headphone is a different shape and price than the Hesh 2. This leaves us wondering how these two are related and how they compare. So what should you consider when trying to choose between the two?

Good Deal

For $70 these phones are a good deal. Good sound, decent bass. I'm currently listening to Avenged Sevenfold and the sound is good. These phones can go to a high volume with no distortion. I have a large head and these phones fit comfortably.

A decent pair of headphones

It hurts your head after wearing it for 2+ hours. Also, after 6 months of owning these, they playing distorted sound. I left them along for 1 month and they seemed to work fine. I think the blowing out of sound is common for this brand.

Very good sound; You can really feel the basic, which is common in most Skullcandy products; The cord is just the right length and it is a really comfortable set of headphones; For the price, these are worth it; It's meant for anyone: including gamers

The muffs are really big and don't look right; I mean they don't look good as far as style

"Great for the price"

The headphones worked as advertised. The bluetooth connection was easy. Battery charged up very quickly. Use mostly with the cord to my device. Very pleased with the headphones

Skullcandy Hesh 2 Wireless

. But not everyone has £200 lying about, even those who fork out £500 a year or more for their phone contract.

Low price for wireless headphones; An easy listen

Slow and sloppy bass; Soft treble and midrange have little detail

Amazing product.

Amazing product... great sound quality. Try this once and you will feel the difference between a normal over the ear headphone and this one. A bit on the higher side from price point but completely worth it.

Skullcandy Hesh 2 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones

How much should a good pair of over-ear headphones cost? As far as Skullcandy is concerned, R1 600 is what you should be shelling out for their Hesh 2 wireless offering. Skullcandy is a brand that most South Africans should be familiar with, particularly for their affordable price and colourful...

Well built; Balanced sound range; Good pricing; Great battery life

Volume buttons ill-placed

Skullcandy Hesh 2 Wireless

Skullcandy's Hesh 2 Wireless, also known as the Hesh 2 Unleashed Wireless, is the Bluetooth version of Skullcandy's affordable and somewhat bulbous-shaped over-ear headphone, the Hesh 2.

The Skullcandy Hesh 2 Wireless sounds reasonably good for a $100 USD Bluetooth headphone, has decent battery life (15 hours), and is fairly comfortable to wear; Its integrated three-button remote works well and is easy to operate by feel

Sound quality is good, but not great; design is fairly generic
