Skate 2

I bought this game because i have the first one. I also like the game because i like the challenges on the game. I would recommend this game to people who are in to skating and who also like skating games.

A realistic skating experince, must buy.

For many years the Tony Hawks series of videogames have dominated the skating game genre. When the original Skate was released it provided a great alternative to the Tony Hawks series with its realistic challenges, great graphics and intuitive controls.

To Skate, Or Not To Skate...?

Grab your board and get ready for high flying action as the sequel to the amazing Skate has arrived. Skate 2 picks up five years after the last game and finds the city of New San Vanelona in ruins following a series of earthquakes.

Skate 2

Skate 2 builds on a near perfect game, and manages to come out on top offering even more than the original. Featuring a real living and breathing city, backed up with an impressive online experience and gameplay that is near flawless, it makes you wonder where do EA take the series from here.

Skate 2 review

There's a huge amount of potential in this sequel, and it has gameplay you'll keep coming back to time and time again. A must-have for any true skating fan.

Creating and skating spots is worth the cover-price alone; Looks incredible and has great depth if you want it

The walking/running is not animated well (that's the politest way I could describe it).

"WOW"

The first time I played Skate, I just thought "WOW! This is so much beter than any other skating game". You can actually imagine doing the tricks, rather than just pressing X to jump or something.

AS FANS OF THE first game could tell you, there was very little that Skate did wrong. As a wonderful disruption to a stale Tony Hawk's Pro Skater-dominated genre, Skate brought with it a fresh and completely functional new way of interfacing with your skateboard, along with a handful of cultural...

Skate 2 Review

When Skate was released in 2007, it took a fresh new approach with a control scheme that made tricks feel more realistic and satisfying than in any previous game. Skate 2 refines this system somewhat and, impressively, adds a wealth of new features and tricks to its predecessor's already sizable...

Intuitive controls for massive trick repertoire; Huge city to explore; Online co-op challenges are a lot of fun

On-foot movement is clumsy at best; Pedestrians get in the way and leave litter; AI of other skaters is questionable
