Sine Mora EX (Switch)

Sine Mora was originally released for PC in 2012. In August, owners of the original game received a free upgrade in Sine Mora EX and the game became available on the PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.

Interesting time mechanic; impressive visuals; good voice acting

Switch version is the most expensive compared to the others

Switch Review - 'Sine Mora Ex'

Buy Sine Mora Ex Sine Mora Ex is the perfect package for people fond of 2-D side-scrolling shooters. This re-release contains the original game Sine Mora , and there are few compelling additions for those who are familiar with the original game.

Sine Mora EX (Switch) Review

A fun, if short, old school-ish shooter hits the Nintendo Switch. The new revision of the already pretty great Sine Mora adds a game from a genre that Nintendo's newest console was sorely lacking.

Hit Or Miss A Hit!

I wasn't too sure about this game when I bought it but when I saw it was two players I asked my son to jump on the couch and play it with me and we had a blast. It's simple yet difficult. The plot itself is more for adults but I'd say PG, the gameplay is easy but tactical.

Sine Mora EX Nintendo Switch review - Bullet hell or heaven?

is a beefed up version of the gorgeous bullet hell shooter that originally launched in 2012, back when Xbox Live Arcade was big news. It's the same game as you played back then, just with fancier visuals, a Switch-essential couch co-op mode, and a few additional challenges.

The shmup genre is understandably much loved by some gamers, as it boils down the basics of gaming. Often intense yet simple to play, difficult but easy to grasp, shoot 'em ups were fundamental in the retro arcade scene and continue to entertain us on modern systems, often as download games or...

but there are better horizontal shmups out there

This game is just alright. The graphics and soundtrack are superb, but the gameplay is average. For example, it takes ages to recover your power ups after getting hit and your ship feels underpowered. You need the firepower to kill enemies so you get extra time on the clock to stay alive.
