Sigma 18-250mm F3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM Zoom Lens

The perfect lens for those wishing they didn't have to change lenses all the time. We bought this to replace our two lenses and it worked out nicely. Takes perfect pictures and is easy to operate. Would recommend this to anyone.

SIGMA 18-250MM DC MACRO OS NIKON

"This is a very nice lens for travel. It will increase my reach and give me macro option as well. It balance well with D5100 body very well. It feel good on your hand.Another plus is the price, almost 50% less than Nikon's 18-200MM.

Buy this Sigma one time and you will never look back !!!

Don 't be afraid to buy this lens !!! I have several Nikon lenses and Tamrons and was skid dish about Sigma. I have had this on my Nikon for several months now and won't take it off. This is a #1 walk around lens. It's ready for anything. There is some weight to it but not too bad.

Awesome walkabout lens

I wanted a solid walkabout lens for my D5100 without breaking the bank. I had the option of buying the Nikon 18-300 for about $1000 or a 3rd party lens. I really did't want to invest too much in glass for a D series mount as I can see myself moving up to an F series in a couple of years.

Great range at a good price

So far no sign of lens creep, common to many extended range zooms. Seems sharp throughout range, and the macro setting is an added plus.
Pros:
  • Price
  • range
Cons:
  • Might seem heavy to some
  • but not this old guy
