To clarify, I am not an expert, more of an advanced amateur, but there was no option for this, and I'm definitely above Intermediate. Also, I live in the UK so price given is in Pound Sterling. I bought this on eBay from a reputable seller, even after hearing about Sigma's quality control issues.
Pros:
- Build quality
- With my copy, this was definitely the strong point of this lens
- I just cannot fault it
- It's heavy enough to feel solid in the hand, and light enough to not be a chore to carry around
- It feels like it could take a lot of beating, and also gives it an expensive feel, Image Quality.
Cons:
- Corner quality wide open
- Corner quality at wide apertures is always a problem for lenses (for some it's much less of a problems than for others, but corners are generally weaker than the center), but the distortion on this lens definitely doesn't help much, Distortion.

Tremendous Value
At times has a hard time focusing. About a week after I purchased this lens It was dropped while attached to the camera and landed directly on the lens. The only resulting damage was some cracked plastic. I continue to use this lens on a daily basses with no repairs and no complaints.
Pros:
- Durable
- Price
- Very wide
Cons:
- Focus

Works well overall on my Canon Rebel.
I recently was shooting in an area Basilica. The wide-angle allowed me to get the whole interior. Got some great shots.
Pros:
- Consistent Output
- Durable
- Fast / accurate auto-focus
- Nice field of view
- Rugged
Cons:
- A little stiff to attach
- Sort of heavy

Great little lens for the price.
I purchased this product as an entry level into a wide angle lens for an APS-C sensor. I have been nothing but satisfied with this lens so far for the price point. The photos are tac sharp, with only a little bit of softening around the edges.

Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM
After seeing numerous photographs taken at wide angle for years, I've wanted an ultra wide angle lens. I had no idea for what I was in until I actually obtained one! First off, I love taking photos of sunsets and clouds.. big sky photos and displaying object scale.
Pros:
- Build
- optics
- internal focus
Cons:
- Requires a whopping 77mm filter
- aberrations at 10mm

Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM Review
Sigma makes this lens for a variety of mounts, but only the Nikon, Canon and Sigma mount versions have the HSM, or Hyper Sonic Motor function – Pentax and Sony versions don't. Otherwise the lens is constructed from fourteen elements in ten groups.
Pros:
- Lack of critical sharpness
- poor control over chromatic aberrations
Cons:
- Good build quality
