The HSM equipped models makes fast AF speeds and quiet shooting a reality, and it is also capable of full-time manual focus. It has a minimum focusing distance of 9.4" (24cm) at all focal lengths. It is also equipped with an integral Petal-type hood to block out extraneous light.

I received the wrong version of this lens (a better version, actually), but still was not happy enough to keep it
I ordered this lens and returned it after a brief testing period, because I was not happy with the image quality, *and* I was sent the wrong lens! Sigma makes an f/4-5.6 and they also make an f/3.5 version.

is my second Signma and is the favourite of the three I have
A must buy. I've had this lens for 2.5 years, is my second Signma and is the favourite of the three I have. I've taken it to New York, London, Niagara Falls, Rome, Philippines and Barcelona; I won't go into the technicalities of it but it allows for stunning sharp photographs and is a must for every...

Happy with my purchase!
I recently bought the lens to complete my gear set. I am very happy with the quality of the Sigma lens, and the photographs it gives. I have not taken that many yet but the sharpness and colors given by this lens is very acceptable.

Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM
After seeing numerous photographs taken at wide angle for years, I've wanted an ultra wide angle lens. I had no idea for what I was in until I actually obtained one! First off, I love taking photos of sunsets and clouds.. big sky photos and displaying object scale.
Pros:
- Build
- optics
- internal focus
Cons:
- Requires a whopping 77mm filter
- aberrations at 10mm

outstanding wide angle shooter
Really enjoy the ability to get as wide as I can with this lens. The closest I could get before buying this was 18mm and wasn't sure how much difference it would make, but it is substantial! I can get nearly 90 degrees to either side of the camera in each shot.
Pros:
- super wide
- not heavy at all even at 77mm
Cons:
- only adjusts to 20mm if you have to have a con at all

Great little lens for the price.
I purchased this product as an entry level into a wide angle lens for an APS-C sensor. I have been nothing but satisfied with this lens so far for the price point. The photos are tac sharp, with only a little bit of softening around the edges.

Good overall quality and one of the best price performance ratio for Canon aps-c cameras.
Pros:
- Good overall sharpness at f/8-11
- Very good build quality
- Silent, quick and accurate autofocus system
- Lens pouch and hood included
- Fair price
Cons:
- High vignetting and barely acceptable sharpness at maximum apertures
- The maximum aperture changes across the focal length range

Great lens
I just picked up this lens for my D7100. Until now, my widest lens was 18mm. What a difference it is at 10mm! I thought about the Nikon 10-24mm but for almost twice the price it just wasn't worth it. The sigma does the job well and is priced right.

AS GOOD AS ADVERTISED
I bought this to work with my 60D and I could not be happier. When I am on vacation, this allows me to take nice photo's of the large Cathedrals in Europe.
Pros:
- Consistent Output
- Nice Bokeh
- Strong Construction
