Great Lense

Great lensI bought this as a Christmas present for my partner and he loves it so far. It has a built in AF motor which makes it easier to take pictures without a tripod to hand and also the macro option for the close up shots. The lens come with a basic lens hood which was a pleasant surprise.

Excellent lens for the price.

Lens produces very good quality images across its whole range. The macro setting is extremely good, keeping a good distance between camera and subject, so less chance of frightening some subjects. Auto focus is fast and accurate. Manual focus is easy when needed, with the focus ring well placed.

Don't judge this lens by its price

I was skeptical of this lens when I saw its advertised price, so I spent some time researching it on the Internet to see how bad it was. To my surprise, I could only find positive comments!
