Great overall lens for the price. Came with a cover and a case. Due to the f-speed you must keep this lens very still to maintain a clear photo. A tripod would work best but a steady hand has sufficed this far. Great lens.

The Sigma 70-300mm telephoto zoom lens is compact,to easily fit in the camera bag. The feel of the Sigma lens was designed with the hand in mind. I was surprised to know the price, being very affordable. I needed to use a lens that would take my eye to 300mm when the boat takes us whale watching.

It is a good lens, there is no option Vibration Reduction on the lens but It is a problem that we can resolve with a tripod.

I bought this lens with a specific purpose in mind - photographing model aircraft in flight. I had previously used a Canon 80-200 mm which I found a bit too limiting at the long end of the range - an excellent lens, but not quite right for the job. The Sigma came with its own lenshood and case.

The Sigma 70-300mm F/4-5.6 APO DG Macro is a good low end telephoto lens. For someone with a small budget, looking to get better shots of wildlife, this lens is ideal. Sharp images with fast enough AF performance although slightly noisy.

by far the best telephoto lens for my sony dslr. Sharp pictures however low lighting is problematic. otherwise, this lens cant be beat for the price. I dont regret the purchase whatsoever.

I feel that this lens is great with its fantastic zoom and brilliant macro setting. This lens for me is great for nature and sports photography because of its zoom. However when you try to focus it does make a slight noise so if your close to a animal it may get scared, but that happends rarely.

Jag tycker att denna produkt håller bra klass, och är prisvärd. Objektivet är skönt att hålla i och man får bra grepp. Produkten har hållt än så länge i alla fall, jag har haft den i ca. 9 månader. Bra val om du vill fota både macro och landskap, men inte har råd att köpa 2 objektiv.

Man kan använda denna som både ett zoom och ett macro, och det är inte speciellt tungt heller; Blir skarpa bilder, kan bli lite skakiga om man har längre slutartid, men oftast har man ju ett stativ när man fotar närbilder och landskap som detta objektiv passar bra till.

Har inte inbyggd bildstabilisator, vilket vissa kan tycka är lite dumt, men jag tycker det funkar mycket bra utan; Om man ska fota macro är närgränsen lite störande eftersom den är på 1.5 meter.
