Bought this vhit little worries, because is cheap compare to other lenses, but it is great lens and work absolutely perfect. So it is good item for such a good price

Lot of searching and came across this lense,tried it out today, from a novice point of view,it has done the job ell,used manual focus at first,then went auto.I'm very pleased with the results,,oh,and was a great price too,it feels substantial...

The Sigma 70-300mm telephoto zoom lens is compact,to easily fit in the camera bag. The feel of the Sigma lens was designed with the hand in mind. I was surprised to know the price, being very affordable. I needed to use a lens that would take my eye to 300mm when the boat takes us whale watching.

Only if I could give minus stars . I was so excited as I was leaving the country the next day of my lens delivery. And I see that the lens doesn't fit my camera. When I have specifically ordered for sony. I'm so disappointed.

It's a good lens from the price, but not terribly sharp upon closer inspection. This is one of Sigma's older pre-Global Vision designs. However, it's a good starter telephoto zoom lens for a student or beginning photographer.
