Sigma 60mm F2.8 DN

The Sigma 60mm F2.8 DN ($239 direct) is the largest and most expensive lens that the company currently offers for mirrorless cameras, but it's still fairly light and compact when compared with SLR glass.

Very sharp from edge to edge; Minimal distortion; Available for Micro Four Thirds and NEX cameras.

Lacks image stabilization

REVIEW: Sigma 60mm f/2.8 DN A Lens Review

Handling and features This 60mm lens is currently available to fit both Micro Four Thirds and Sony NEX cameras and costs around £170 and it sports a bright f/2.8 aperture with rounded aperture blades, for pleasing out of focus blur.

Before buying a new lens for A6K series come back and read

I come from Nikon full frame Nikon Df- still love it and all the D and AIS lenses that go with it, never wanted a video capability but had plenty of investment in the Nikon system. Up until last year the lugging around did not hurt but now the hand tingles and you can feel the load.

Really nice lens at a great price

Added this lens to the 19mm and 30mm Sigma lenses that I have for my Lumiox GX1. These three prime lenses perform beautifully. The new 60mm is a fast mid-range lens that produces very clear images. It's size matches my GX1 to produced a nicely balanced camera-lens combination.

Durable; Easy To Use; Lightweight; Reliable; Value

Sigma 60mm f/2.8 DN "A" review by theelderkeynes

Great lens, pin sharp on portraiture, excellent value and they include a hood and pouch which is a nice touch. Is very good at showing fine detail in the face. Get one!

Very sharp

Bit slow to focus on an OLympus E-P2 in low light but that is the Oly I think

Just buy it!!!

Wow. I bought this lens to use for portraits, because I was previously using the Lumix 42.5mm, but wanted an upgrade, and let me tell you! This lens is amazing! Great colors and great depth of field. I bought it from Amazon warehouse for a cheaper price, but it works just fine.

Sigma AF 60mm f/2.8 DN (Sony E mount) - Review / Lab Test

Sigma scored quite a bit of hit with its set of DN lenses which is probably not all that surprising given their compact size, low weight and - especially - the very attractive price point.

Excellent optical quality on a Sony APC-C sensor

Excellent optical quality on a Sony APS-C sensor, great for portraits, autofocus is good but remember it's a third party lens. Nice build quality, and comes with a hood and bag, it out performs lenses many times the price. If you are expanding your collection to include some primes it's a must have.
