This is a very good prime lens for portrait, street shooting, and some landscape. Works fine on my Nikon D700, but need to adjust focusing with +15 fine tuning, not bad at all! Image quality is super good, someone said it is even better than 35G, which is $500 more expensive than this one!

I bought this for my canon 6d and I couldn't be more satisfied with the pictures I've been producing with it. This is a great value and I've had a lot of fun shooting with it for the past few weeks.

I always regarded Sigma as being a cheaper third party lens. This lens is quite possibly the best prime lens I own. I have several brand name high end prime lenses that perform well but nowhere near as superb as this.
