I bought this lens for my A77 and was very disappointed 'cause the AF was very unreliable, OK for people, but horrible for landscape. Tried to fix it with the Sigma docking station, but that only works if you have a clear front- or back-focus on the lens and you don't have the possibility to correct...

fast/bright lens; very sharp; great built quality; nice bokeh AF on mirror-less cameras (with LA EA3 on the A6300; BUT only in AF-C mode) is very reliable; even in dim light (with the iris open

Slow focus (but for an 18-35mm f1.8 which i do not intend to use for sports; it's OK); CA (but as I shoot raw; no problem in post processing); weight (again; it's an f1.8 lens; it simply can't be that lightweight) Focusing on SLR (those with that clapping mirror) is inaccurate; not correctable with...

The lens has a focal range equivalent to 27mm - 52.5mm in a 35mm format and it can cover the angles of view of multiple fixed focal length lenses. This wide aperture, standard zoom lens enables the photographer to expand creative possibilities on any occasion.

Credit must be given to Sigma for taking the plunge and being the first to pull off this optical feat. Despite being a touch heavy – especially for a lens intended for smaller APS-C format D-SLRs – the 18-35mm impressed us in almost all areas of testing.

Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM (Art) Lens (Nikon) - Brand New review

The Sigma 18-35mm ƒ/1.8 DC HSM "Art" lens packs a big punch in features and image quality without a big punch to the wallet. Shockingly sharp images at all apertures, even at ƒ/1.8, with excellent flatness of field and good control over chromatic aberration, distortion and vignetting make this lens...

Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM (Art) Lens (Nikon) - Brand New review

As far as our opinion goes, this lens stands out because of the variety of different needs it can cater to. The f/1.8 aperture is very fast. You can use it to capture images or record videos in places with low-light. Plus, the Hyper-Sonic motor or HSM is silent while it helps you auto focus.

D/1.8 maximum aperture is extremely fast, Works exceptionally well with, Great for capturing images and recording videos, Offers you full-time manual override of the motor, The chromatic aberrations can be controlled by this lens

The overall construction is durable, Offers a maximum aperture of f/5-6.3, A highly portable lens for those on the go, Features a mount that is splash and dust-proof, Coating on the front glass is repellent to water and oil

The iPhone 14 isn't much of an upgrade over the iPhone 13, but it's still a great device and an upgrade for anyone coming from the iPhone 11 or older.
