Sigma 18-125mm f/3.8-5.6 DC OS HSM review by Gunars Grinvalds
I purchased this lens last week for my Sony A200 on purpose to replace Sony's old DT3,5-5,6/18-70 kit lens. I perform some tests to compare new lens with my Sony 18-70 and Sony DT 4-5,6/55-200 lenses.
Pros:
- Good sharpness
- accurate
- sufficiently fast and quiet AF
- solid construction
- reasonable price
Cons:
- Somewhat high chromatic aberration in 18-50 mm zoom region

Well worth it.
This was just what I was hoping for. I had read pros and cons from others, but I read a review from a canon user mag that rated it a best buy for mid range zooms. I am very pleased with the performance so far. The motor for the auto focus sometimes is busy, but it is not a deal breaker.

Fantastic Lens
After using the 18-55mm lens that came with my DSLR for nearly a year I get fed up with not being able zoom in to a subject if they were too far away. So I researched for a couple of weeks on which was the best lens to get. It was between this and the Nikon 18-105, so I went for this.

An all purpose lens that does the job
I just wanted an upgrade from my standard kit lens for my Canon slr. After trawling the internet and finding the canon upgrade just a little too expensive I decided to buy the Sigma. I shot a wedding for a friend that weekend and both my friend and I are very happy with the results.
Pros:
- Consistent Output
- Durable
- Strong Construction

MIND BLOWING LENS................
This 18-125mm multipurpose zoom lens is amazing and the picture quality is great. It works as wide angle lens and a mid range telephoto lens. I have bought this one for my Nikon D5100 and works well. By the way thanks to flipkart for their correct delivery and service is great too...
