Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art Lens for Canon EF - Brand New review

Apple's latest non-Pro iPhone is superb - it's just that it's strikingly similar to last year's effort.

Still an incredible smartphone, Brilliant battery life gets a bit better, Excellent camera system gets a bit better

Last year’s Pro hardware, Wireless charging slow by modern standards, No USB-C; it’s now well overdue

Sigma 135mm F1.8 DG HSM Art

The Sigma 135mm F1.8 DG HSM Art is very sharp, focuses quickly, is built tough, and gathers a heck of a lot of light at f/1.8-which, combined with the long focal length, nets shots with extremely blurred backgrounds.

Razor sharp; Wide aperture; No distortion; Minimal falloff; Dust- and splash-proof design; Focus limiter switch; Available for Canon, Nikon, and Sigma systems

Quite heavy; Expensive; Omits optical stabilization; May require focus adjustment

Sigma 135mm F1.8 DG HSM Art Review

Long ignored by Canon and Nikon, Sigma proves it has what it takes to revitalize the 135mm portrait lens.

Very sharp; even at f/1.8; Beautiful bokeh; Fast; accurate autofocus; Weather-sealed mount; Three-position focus limiter

Big; heavy; No image stabilization

Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art Lens for Canon EF - Brand New review

More like an iPhone 13S. The generational upgrades for the iPhone 14 are limited to a few subtle changes. At the same time, however, the base price climbs to 800 USD, while the only true innovation happens inside the iPhone 14 Pro series.

excellent OLED display, dust- and waterproof, fast Wi-Fi, wide range of supported frequencies, great camera, very fast performance, good battery life

display limited to 60 Hz, charging rate limited to 20 watts, no macro lens, wide notch

Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art Lens for Canon EF - Brand New review

The Apple iPhone 14 is no match for the just-released iPhone 14 Pro, but if you ignore that, it’s one of the most effective phones around.

Great cameras, front and back, Fast performance, Good battery life, Innovative safety features

Design too familiar, Some average features

Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art Lens for Canon EF - Brand New review

The iPhone 14 isn’t much of an upgrade over the iPhone 13, but it’s still a great device and an upgrade for anyone coming from the iPhone 11 or older.

Great camera, Good battery, Emergency features are cool, Still excellent performance

Display could use some upgrades

Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art

This lens is everything reviewers say. The lack of VR/IS is a non issue with my Sony A7R3, while the extra 1/3 of a stop over my previous Nikkor 135 F2 DC is always handy. The Bokeh is the equal of the legendary Nikkor but much easier to use.

Sharp; sharp; sharp; beautiful bokeh; built like a tank

Heavy..

REVIEW: Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art Review

Sigma brings us their latest Art lens, intended to represent the pinnacle of the lens makers' art, a super bright 135mm f/1.8. This is one of the most popular traditional focal lengths for full frame cameras, ideal for a wide range of subjects and particularly portraiture.
