Terribly lacks bass. The design seems way too cheap compared to 440 that is only a bit more pricy than these. The mids and highs are clear like any other shures. I am not a fan of crappy bass heavy headphones like "the beats" or bose, but these almost sound like there is no bass at all.

The Shure SRH240A is a relatively cheap headphone cashing in at $59. Coming from Shure, it stands to reason this headphone isn't going to suck, but how much headphone do you...

Shure SRH240
We're familiar with Shure 's in-ear headphones, but the company's on-ear cans are a new proposition. The SRH240s look reasonable but feel cheaper than their price would suggest. Pleasingly, the earpads and headband feel comfortable during prolonged listening.
Pros:
- Comfortable to wear
Cons:
- Lack refinement
- cheap feel

Shure SRH 240
But just what are the SRH 240s? The picture on the press release, showing the phones near an iPod nano, implies that Shure is eager to leave the professional world behind.
Pros:
- Good looks
- Powerful but clean bass
Cons:
- Poorly balanced sound
- Low-end materials
- Strident highs

How long you use it? 2008 What is so special that you love the most, least? in fact the least aggressive and tiring lol watch your ears over time the sound is pretty rough to listen to an mp3 player on a bus but it goes even good for the home studio direct you forget!!

For a price point of $60, you are getting a well built headphones that sound perfectly fine for casual listening and some gaming. Because of poor isolation I would not recommend these for commuters.
Pros:
- Light weight Good packaging comfortable to wear Clear mids and highs
Cons:
- Lack bass Headband could have been softer All plastic build makes it less premium feeling

Good Headphones
I bought these as I am increasingly addicted to my ipod and I like over-ear phones. They look good, and the sound is quite decent. They aren't top notch, and if you like scrutinising HD music, then you probably need to spend more, but for the money they are good value.

Shure SRH240 review
These over-ear headphones are absolutely huge, with two massive cups that swallow your ears whole and still leave plenty of free space around them. Although fairly heavy, their size and thick padding makes them very comfortable, and is highly effective at blocking environmental noise.
