A love child of work between game designers suda 51, shinji mikami, and famed silent Hill composer Akira yamaoka, shadows of the damned is a third person shooter of Mexican badass, Garcia Hotspur, on a trip through hell to rescue his beloved Paula from a demented Demon overlord.

This is another great game by that guy; it's toned down from his usual stuff and more "mainstream", but there's no mistake, this game is crazy fun. The gameplay isn't groundbreaking, but is comfy and well done. The story is bad, but "so bad it's good" bad.

While it may initially grate, and the writing definitely misses more than it hits, Shadows of the Damned is a solid, snappy third-person shooter that retreads old ground with a... erm... unique style.

God I love this game, cheesey and slylish, sort of like a RE4 knock off but with its own charm. Have heard they have stopped printing this game so grab a copy while you can

This one is for the books. Had such a great time playing this....thing of a game. Blood, Sex (kinda) & Weird Big Guns, could be the next title of this game. You have to play it to believe there is a game like this out there.....The bosses are quite extreme in nature, very fun to play.

I'm a huge Goichi Suda fan. Shinji Mikami (the man behind Resident Evil and the recently released Vanquish) also ranks among my favorite game designers. So when these highly regarded designers decided to join forces for Shadows of the Damned - their first collaborative effort since the Gamecube cult...

This game is horrible. The controls are very clunky, the bosses are very repetative and they take too long to kill. The game tries to be funny but its just dry. I pre-ordered this game hoping to be as fun and good as no more heroes,but i was sadly mistaken.
