As a man in my 60s, I have some hearing loss typical for anyone that age. It is more pronounced in one ear than the other, and it manifest itself in an inability to hear some dialogue on television shows or movies. These headphones are extremely helpful and easy to use.

I bought these as an upgrade from the older RS180, and wow what an improvement. No need to get up and turn the transmitter on anymore - just turn on the headphones and it'll turn itself on!! Fantastic audio quality as always from Sennheiser.

Overview ======= I find that these headphones are excellent for providing clear and intelligible dialogue while watching TV. As that was my main requirement - I regard these headphones as a great purchase. I have a typical high frequency hearing loss and have hearing aids for both ears.

Excellent product. Initially I could not configure it properly. The sound was very low. After reading the user manual I reconfigured. The sound in normal mode is awesome. However, the sound and special modes are very low. I do not know whether this will help the hearingg impaired.

Bought these to listen to TV on the treadmill; Lots of noise from multiple fans, treadmill motor and running shoes; These aren't noise cancelling but they're almost soundproof; I dont need high volume; I can hear everything clearly at regular volume.

Expensive...; but it's Sennheiser; You get what you pay for

Got these not only to privately hear my TV, but also to better discern voices. It works great!
