Sennheiser HD800 headphones
Sennheiser's long-awaited (seven years) HD800 sure isn't subtle-at least, not in appearance. The HD800's large earpieces are made from a combination of absorbing composites and functional metal accents, and arehuge.

Hi-Fi Plus: Sennheiser HD 800 Headphones

We finally got in the Sennheiser HD 800s. They aren't the most expensive headphones we've reviewed, but they're certainly some of the most hyped. We first heard these back at CES, and we've been waiting to get in a review copy ever since. So what's our verdict? They're amazing. Really.

PRICING NOTE While the RRP of the HD 800s is offically $1999, we regularly see them at $1599 and below. Always double check, however, that you're getting a properly Australian-distributed pair - grey imports may still deliver the genuine item, but your local warranty may be affected.
