Sennheiser HD 800
Sennheiser's HD range of headphones is full of superstars, from the classic HD 650 to the new budget HD 518 . But all the open-back models look a little bit too similar for our liking. Apart from the majestic ￡1000 HD 800 that is.
Pros:
- Incredible breadth to sound
- Excellent build quality

- Great sound quality
- Pushes to high volume without ever distorting
Cons:
- Leaks sound very loudly
- will only really get the premium taste out of Hi-Fi components and a dedicated headphone amplifier

Sennheiser HD 800 Review
Introduced in 2009, the Sennheiser HD 800 are a great pair of headphones. They don't touch your ears, instead floating over and around them. They do not isolate against external sound.

The Brilliant Sennheiser HD 800
When I set up my lab, the only headphones I knew I had to buy were a pair of Sennheiser HD 800s--they are as close to perfect as a headphone gets. I think they are a must for any serious audio professional who has any work where open headphones could be used.

Sennheiser HD800 - Simply the best headphones!!!
I've always been a fan of audio and nice setups from car audio, hifi's and headphones. But i have never taken the plunge into buying the better products around. Audio is a funny thing and is very subjective and everyone has their opinions and tastes.

A basic Fact
Human Ears can detect sounds in the range 20Hz to 20,000Hz (This headphone gives way more) The Headphone is definitely good, but is it worth that much? Perhaps the unheard emitted frequencies will keep the flies away.
