The Sennheiser HD 800 headphones are a symphony of exacting build quality, new-age technology and great specifications. These headphones sound better than any others we have used, but the privilege comes at a hefty price. The Sennheiser HD 800 headphones are impressive to behold.

Sennheiser HD800 Review
Replete with premium components, proprietary technology and several industry firsts, Sennheiser's HD800 headphones easily earn their place amongst the very best ever made. Retailing at just under $1400.00 though, the cover charge for this listening party is a little steep.
Pros:
- Exceptional Sound
- High Quality Construction Extremely comfortable for long term use
Cons:
- Not easily portable
- Ambient noise is easily audible No 1/8" adapter for use with portable audio devices

Sennheiser HD800
Sennheiser's latest and greatest headphones are put to the test. The HD800s created quite a fuzz when released, not only were they one of the most expensive headphones launched last year, they were also the most anticipated ones.

Sennheiser HD 800 Headphones
We finally got in the Sennheiser HD 800s. They aren't the most expensive headphones we've reviewed, but they're certainly some of the most hyped. We first heard these back at CES , and we've been waiting to get in a review copy ever since.

A must have for music enthusiasts
Quite honestly if you're looking at buying these headphones, you probably know exactly what you're getting into. I'm not going to go into great detail on them as there are reviews out there that do a much better job than I could ever do, but I'll just briefly state some of my thoughts on them.

Intrumental Bliss!!
First off I couldn't afford them, but I do have a friend that has a production studio and I get to try out some of the new professional audio products that come out and these cans are unreal.

Sennheiser HD800 review
Sennheiser's strongest suit of late has been upper-midrange headphones including the award-winning HD650, at around £300, which are a popular choice with audiophiles and professionals alike, and now Sennheiser have released the HD800 priced at a whopping £1000.

Soundstage to die for...
Spectacular sound and staging, as you'd expect for the price I guess, but they do sound amazing, especially when driven by a good headphone amp, I'm using the Ray Samuels MR-2. SACDs are great, but even regular Red Book CDs are brought to life.
Pros:
- Comfortable
- Durable
- Good Bass
- Great Sound
- Stylish
