Headphones to die for
My husband did an exhaustive amount of research trying to find the right headphones for me. They had to be of exceptional quality, but allow me to use them with my iPod and iPad. I totally recommend these - even listening to answer phone messages on them is a joy!

Sennheiser HD 238 Precision headphones
Sennheiser's HD 238 Precision headphones are made with good quality components and are comfortable to wear in almost all conditions. The headphones have detailed sound reproduction but we found they seemed flatter than other models, requiring some equaliser adjustment for rich audio.
Pros:
- Good build quality
- comfortable ear-cups and headband
Cons:
- Slightly distant mid-bass
- "leaky" open nature

- good amount of detail

Sennheiser HD 238
The problem is, that deal is unlikely to last. These headphones have been discontinued, presumably replaced by the Sennheiser HD 239s (list price $120). (Sennheiser also makes the HD 229 headphones, which sell for between $60 and $80.
Pros:
- The Sennheiser HD 238 on-ear headphones are comfortable and affordable
- and sound good for the money
Cons:
- The headphones fold flat but lack a compact design like the Bose OE2 headphones
- there's no integrated microphone for cell phones (like the step-up 238i)
- this is a discontinued model that will disappear from stores quickly

Sennheiser HD 238
Recently, I reviewed Sennheiser's HD 238i headphones and thought they were a great deal because they sounded very good and were selling online for $60 online. Well, as soon as I said they were a great deal, a bunch of people went out and bought them on Amazon and the vendors promptly raised the...

Sennheiser HD238i
Sennheiser is no stranger to audio excellence in headphones, so it's no surprise that the HD 238i sound pretty sweet. Sennheiser has taken its high-quality HD 238 headphones and added an in-line remote and microphone specifically for iPhone users.
Pros:
- Nice, warm audio
- great in-line mic
Cons:
- Feel a bit flimsy

Sennheiser HD 238 My partner and I share a lot of loves though music is not one of them. Due to this, I felt it time to buy a set of headphones in order to stop my other half complaining loudly every time I wanted to listen to some music on my computer.

Sennheiser HD 238 Precision High Resolution Stereo Headphones
Let me start this review by getting a few things clear: I am not, or was not anyway, what I would consider a true audiophile. I also am not (or was not) much of a headphone user. All this changed when I got the chance to spend a couple months with the Sennheiser HD 238 Stereo Headphones.
