Sennheiser Game One Review - Gorgeous But Overpriced

I don't know who first set the precedent that a black-and-red color scheme translates to "awesome, and maybe a little bit evil," but I'd like to tip my hat to that person. The Sennheiser Game One headset ($250) is a slick black peripheral with just enough shiny red highlights to turn heads.

Looks awesome; Good in-game sound; Quality mic

Not very comfortable; So-so music performance; Way too expensive

Sennheiser G4ME ONE

The Sennheiser G4ME ONE is a pair of excellent $200-range headphones that desperately wants to be an excellent gaming headset. It sounds fantastic, but without it willing to "slum it" in the realm of audio gimmicks and on-headset mixing it feels more like a pair of headphones with a boom mic priced...

Excellent sound reproduction; Very comfortable

Expensive; Flimsy feeling for the price; Lacks EQ modes to boost voice chat or surround effects in games

Sennheiser G4ME ONE Gaming Headset

Sennheiser is well-know for their microphones and headphones as well as their PC-line of gaming headsets. Back in 2012 we looked at the PC 360 Gaming headset and today we are following up with the G4ME ONE headset.

Excellent comfort (feels like I'm wearing baby kittens on my ears; Excellent audio quality; Great build quality; Intuitive controls

Pricey at $249; but worth it for the quality

Sennheiser G4ME One Review

and Sennheiser G4ME One. We looked at the closed-back Zero recently and found it offered excellent clarity, comfort and usability but its weak bass delivery wasn't the most universally appealing – not to mention, it's pretty pricey too.

Sennheiser G4ME ONE gaming headset Review

With the release of the G4ME ONE gaming headphones alongside the slightly higher-end G4ME ZERO, Sennheiser reminds the public that they're not just satisfied with bringing music to the aviator-inspired ear-blaster market.

It's great to see Sennheiser getting into the gaming world. The Germany-based company has long been a standard that other music accessory companies should test themselves against when it comes to clarity and quality of sound.

Sennheiser G4ME ONE Over-Ear Gaming Headset

I tired these for a while as a friend owns them. I have the Game Zeros and I actually like those a bit better than these. These game ones sound closest to my HD555's for gaming. They have a fairly flat and neutral sound with a decent little bass hump that makes explosions sound good in games.

- Great gaming sound, Great mic; Rediculously comfortable, excelent build

- Sort of veiled sound

Good ears. Great mic.

Solid purchase being run on my laptop. Will eventually be on a proper desktop and will receive heavy (potential +4 hours a day) usage. I think I went a bit overboard with this purchase but I

The mic is great; Tested on several platforms and it is very clear in every single one; The mute feature is convenient so I don't hot mic swear words to teammates that get me killed, etc..; gotta keep that team chemistry 100; Feels rigid with the exterior.

They were expensive; If these don't meet long-term expectations, I will not buy a similar product to replace it; If you have a large head, or low ears, you may want to try these before you purchase; I have both ears down to the maximum - fits perfect - but it might not for the next guy

Sound is amazing!

These sound great. I can hear everything in game and they have good bass too. When other people are talking to you it's easy to hear them as well. Much better then my old turtle Beach ones. Can use with xbox one as well just buy Microsoft controller adapter.

Mic Hears Headset Speakers

I love the headset, but the only problem is sometimes the mic picks up the noise coming out of your headset. Honestly, I should've realised this since it's an open back headset, but you'll have to finely tweak a few settings before it's perfect
