Bargain for your buck.

I absolutely love this scooter! My partner and I purchased one of these scooters each over the Christmas holidays and we haven’t stopped using them. The battery life is great, we travelled from Riccarton to New Brighton and still had half a charge left. The speed is true, these scooters easily reach the max speed of 25 and you can actually go above 25 downhill. There are three modes Eco, Drive and Sport. Each mode is super useful for the ride you’re wanting, sport mode definitely takes off too. We looked at other scooters before purchasing this model and we are over the moon with our decision to go with this scooter. It also comes with a one...view more

1 Month Review.

Amazing Up hill power OVER the M365 and the ES4 even on CFW with more power pushed this thing smashes them on stock firmware. Battery is extremely good i don't fully charge anymore as 40% is enough to get me to and from work even with a detour. Being designed for the rental market is its extremely sturdy and no tubes in the tires meaning less flasts and easier changes not to mention the larger tyres. Main issue with M365 is the power reduces and torque loss is huge under 50% battery this doesn't have it and pushes near full power at over 10-15% battery. Anyone should wait and get this beast instead you wont regret it.

Sweet handling scooter

Probably the most versatile scooter out there, quick enough and the battery lasts for ages.

A fantastic price for a great product

Purchase in December two of these and they are great! Love using them and wish we had got earlier. Everything works to specifications and no complaints at all.

Serious commuting scooter

Bought this a month ago and am really happy with it - already done 100kms. Wheels are large, the ride is smooth and sure footed. Braking is excellent and I like how you can choose the energy recovery level which affects how fast it slows down without brakes. I am 93kgs and it scoots along at 25km/h quite nicely and will take on steeper hills unlike other scooters I have ridden. The longest ride I have done is 19kms and this took about 40mins with 65% remaining. I can’t imagine ever using the full battery capacity between charges. I think one of the best features is that it only needs a kettle cord to charge it which you can buy for a few bucks. Leave one at home, one at work, and one for the backpack.

A great product

I’ve had this scooter for about 3 weeks and it suits my needs completely. I bought it as a commute to work and it’s brilliant! It has plenty of power especially considering my weight! Not sure about how long the charge lasts as I’ve not been game to go below about 40% before recharging. I’ve got about 4 days before I recharge so it’s ok. The footpaths are a bit rough here so the ride is often very hard and bumpy but I guess these scooters are pretty good for the money. Only down side is the Ninebot is very heavy to lug about when you need to carry it. Still haven’t worked out how to chain it up if you can’t take it in with you. Overall, it’s a great scooter

Solid Scooter

The pros and cons are it’s solidity. It does over 60km range, has a good range of modes to be economical, typical daily ride and to get their fast / with flair. It’s build is quite good, looks good, feels high quality but it is bulky. With the extra power comes extra responsibility (on your arms to carry this thing up/down stairs inevitably), so if you can’t handle the weight (or mind asking for some help), this thing will be a pain. Charging and electronics and the app are all helpful. Can take me and my son (combined weight of 140kg) zooming around the city. You can get cheapos or you can get off-road beasts that do a lot more but if you want a long range solid build with good features at a decent price and don’t mind the weight and don’t need lots of extra’s, this is a solid choice... did I say solid?

Great scooter - good range and hill-climbing

Great scooter. I use it for my daily commute over a pretty big hill. It has no trouble getting over it and has plenty of charge left for the ride home. That said, don't get it if you are after something light and portable - that range requires a big battery. Build quality is very good - much better than the rental scooters all over my town. P.S. The reviewer who said it wouldn't go up their driveway - have you set it on sport mode rather than economy? It is completely anemic on economy mode. On sport it will get up pretty much any hill you are likely to encounter around town.

Awesome Segway Max!

Great machine... Great quality finishes. Very durable. Even better in the flesh than in the pictures... 25km/h is perfect. NOt too fast, standard cycling speed, so car drivers understand your speed. Easy to use... About $0.010 (1.0 cents) of electricity per KM. Charge it up every few days, or each week, depending on use. Great comfortable ride, quite large 10 inch tyres, with standard car tyre valve, plus lots of "puncture healing goo" in the tyre. Almost puncture proof... Zero problem so far, after about 70km worth of use...
