Good product but the packaging was abysmal.

Great drive as so much space. I purchased from Amazon directly and it was inadequately packed to such an extent that I was fearful that it would be defective. I was correct - within 24 hrs of use many drive errors started and eventually my Synology NAS warned me of imminent failure.
