Got this to replace a dead laptop drive and did not want to pay $350 to 400 for a 1tb ssd. This cost $89 on sale. The performance difference between a sshd and a 7200rpm laptop drive like wdblack is negligeable. ssd is much more performance and batery saving oriented

I have bought 4 or 5 of these now, and I keep coming back to it because of its price. It offers faster performance than a standard HDD (about 2x as fast in my experience), and still has quite a bit of storage space.

Hard drive is definitely quicker. Used to upgrade ps4 drive and games now load noticeably faster. Reasonably priced for a quality hard drive. Look no further

I bought this HD to change my old 250Gb MBP HD. The change was really easy, as there are many videos on youtube that show what you do. I have the unibody MBP. After removing the back cover and disconnecting the battery, the HD change is like any other laptop.

substantial improvement in booting and access speeds, far better compared to a simple mechanical drive. It has 8Gb ssd and 1Tb of conventional Hdd ( only 931Gb is usable though)

after 3 attempts to replace this HD I am writing this review to warn you not to purchase from this manufacturer, HD is bad and after 17 hours of troubleshooting it was determined that the HD is bad beware company is not responding to my request for information, HD is bad and their warranty coverage...

I'm using this drive in an Xbox One which is performing well over USB3. It's not as quick as a SSD itself, however it's certainly noticeably quicker than a HDD which is what I had expected after researching before purchasing.

This hybrid hard drive is super fast and very quiet making it the best alternative to full SSD's

It's a great value drive for the money. I needed a large drive for my Steam games, simply had an issue having to reinstall different games as I wanted to play them. This is a perfect drive for your games library.
