Great depending on what you use it for!
Does what it says. Be aware that it won't connect to DVD players and media players because they don't give it enough power. Otherwise, I would format it to FAT32 so you can use it on Mac and PC. It's been great as a permanent expansion to my laptop to store all my Steam games.

Seagate Expansion Portable Hard Drive - 1TB
Fast drive and decent price. It's shock protection is lacking though so it may not be the best choice for you if you have a tendency to drop things.

Nice and fast via USB 3.0, amazing value for money. Hopefully it has typically great Seagate reliability.

ok portable hard drive
got one of these and nearly threw it out after 12 months. would not show up on pc. was using front usb 2.0 ports with no dramas at the time. decided to use rear usb 3.0 ports and worked again. this happened with a couple of Toshiba ones I have too.

This seagate gadget comes with a capacity of 1tb and a usb interface of 3. 0 very easy to use product very compact too you can carry it around.

Got this on sale, and is worth the price and portability. It is light and does not need extra power adapter like the desktop model. Would recommend for students and business usage. The only thing is it is not the fastest usb 3.0 drive i used.

Worked for a few months and just stopped
Was working for a few months. Then it just stopped working. Did nothing to it (like drop or damage), even kept it in the safe.

awesome thing !
The quality which Seagate delivers is like of no match.. using it for about a week and i am highly satisfied...it is very light weight and compact and so easy to use. Surely recommended !
