Purchased this after researching upgraded hard drives for a ps4. It works and has since install. Shipping wasn't terrible per se, arrived in a bubble wrap package with no defects in packaging.

Luckily I'm one for redundancy, otherwise I'd be even more disappointed. Seagate's OEM Software is useless. The warranty on the device is useless. RMA process is not even worth the effort as they hold the device for 6+ months. This drive is made cheaply, you can buy $5 enclosures of better quality.

Great buy at a great price

I bought this so I could upgrade the PS4 hard drive (which was only 500GB) and now we have 2TB worth of space, which is great because we'd rather download the digital versions of game from PS instead of having game discs lying around getting scratched etc...

It is what it is - 2tb of cheap storage with a fast usb 3.0 connector.

Been using this heavily for nine months without issue, carrying it around with me to use in place of USB sticks. Constant reads/writes, and no problems!

Very bad. I tested the hard disk and to copy a few videos worth less than 500 mb it wanted to take 20 minutes. My laptop RAM was free and i got huge amount of space and still it wanted 20 minutes to copy them. Poor performer

2Tb Version I am old so my idea of an external harddrive is a clunky great thing with it's own power source that can be a tad temperamental. That said I have 2 Seagate drives (500Gb and 1Tb) that must be at least 7 years old and still work (when I can find their power cords) and a Western Digital...

The Windows backup program that comes with my Windows 7 works better then the Seagate program, and the Seagate support page was useless to me in telling me the exact software they have for me to use with this External Hard Drive.
