Works fine with Linux
I purchased the drive to back-up my Linux server. Despite the specification saying only Windows and MAC support, I found on the Seagate website that although not officially supported by Seagate for Linux use, they say their drives should work and indeed I am pleased to say this one works fine.

Seagate Expansion STBV4000100 4 TB 3.5 Ext. Hard
This is an excellent 2ND Storage System by SEAGATE for storing a lot of files!! For the price, it is an exceptional value!! I would recommend this purchase to a friend.

Fast Service for a needed replacement
I needed to replace a USB hard drive that crashed. I immediately found what I needed and completed the order quickly. In a few days I was back up and running. Greatly appreciate the great service.

Great backup tool!
I bought this for a great price, after a $10 rebate, for $80. It is SO MUCH EASIER to back up all my stuff on this than a bunch of little thumb drives!

Great for Xbox One Storage !!
Recommended this to my gamer friends and family and we've probably bought over half a dozen of these!
Pros:
- Very easy to setup as extra storage for my Xbox one
- Looks good and very quiet
- Great price for 5GB of game storage
Cons:
- None so far ..
- it just works!

I shoot thousands of photographs of birds, wildlife and landscapes. The images fill my computer ram and hard drive very quickly. I have found these External Hard Drives work well for me in keeping my computer free of too many gigabytes...

Does what it should no problems
Lovely sturdy design , and simple plug and store. Only problem is my TV does not see this as the storage size is too big !!!!! Quite expensive compared to similar though

As usual Seagate branded item. This is my 14th HDD from Seagate. Be careful with the adapter, it is sensitive to power fluctuations and good earthing is must. Do not keep it running when not in use, this increases the chance for better longivity of the drive.
