Seagate 3TB Expansion 3.5-inch USB 3.0 External HDD
I ordered one of these from MemoryBits, and it came well packed and promptly - as I expected, as they have been a preferred supplier to me for some years now. My computer experience goes back to the Business version of the Commodore Pet, and in the early days around 1984/5 when I started buying IBM...

Good Backup/Streaming Drive
I have owned this storage device for over a year now. Currently used for streaming media throughout the home network. With constant media updates and read writes consistently over a years time this drive has held up well. Have maintained about 2.5TB of data uncorrupted on this drive in that time.

Decent price, great storage, great performance
I don't mean to be "that guy", but these other reviewers have to be doing something wrong. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this drive. I plugged it in and immediately started transferring data. I've filled it up to almost 2TB already.

This SEEMS TO BE THE TICKET to great entertainment as well as super storage, both accomplished at an inexpensive price. After loading up with all my CDs in WAV plus all my images, I plan to transfer this HD to my HDTV. Then lazy me can just click and play anything I choose.

Value for money - 3TB Hard Drive - Cheapest on the market - RECOMMEND
The Seagate Hard Drives are the most reliable and are compatable with most operating systems (including game consoles). The only down side is when format drive, data lose is approx 150G.....compared to other brands Seagate is up there with the best.

Bought two, they work well
Compared to other external drives I have and used (Western Digitals, Seagate FreeAgents, Maxtors, Acomdatas, etc.) the Expansion line seems remarkably issue-free. True, I've been filling them with Terabytes of data only since two weeks, but they hold up well.

Small, quiet (many are not!), sleek device with a large capacity. Let's face it, all these things fail eventually. Irreplaceable files need to be stored on more than one device. This one is no bigger than my first, which only held 500MB.
