Seagate designs small and delivers big with the new Constellation.2 Series of drives that deliver up to 1TB of capacity in a 2.5" form factor.

Enterprise HDDs, so far so good.

I started by ordering 2 of these drives for an older Dell T410 server. Since then, I've expanded to 4 more to create a total of 6 TB mirrored drives. The drives see light use, and I've not seen any failures yet.

1 of 3 dead after 14 months

I bought 3 of these. After 14 months one died. Need I say more? For an "enterprise" hard drive, this is dismal.

Nice, but Thick

This is a good drive for servers

This is a fast hard drive, with built-in encryption (a nice plus) and enterprise-grade reliability and build; It should last a long time

This is an enterprise drive, meant for servers, SAN's, and NAS'; That means it is thick; About 2x thicker than my laptop's current HDD; So, regrettably, I will be sending this back; I am guessing it to be in the 19mm range for thickness.

Not reliable at all

I have ordered 18pcs, 7 of them didn't work straight from the box. If there were less than 5 starts I would have rated minus
