Simple data hard drive nothing fancy had to replace a dying maxtor 250 GB drive that I killed when I left my computer in storage and the PC got knocked over my main PC has a nvme m.2 so I'm a bit spoiled but as far as spinning drives go not a bad product would buy this for a casual gamer or user

Ordered this item 4 times, each time it came with NO manufacturer packaging and it came broken each time. I queried this on each return but got no response...Ended up buying this drive from my local Currys as I was just going to keep receiving faulty products with no packaging.

Don't waste your time looking another disks. The barracuda series is the most faithful storage device in the market. Ultra fast, sleek, light weight and rock solid disk. But I'm not happy with amazon's protection.

Been using for a couple months now, it was a sudden necessity as my old drive burnt out randomly one day. This has had no issues yet and is much bigger than my previous drive, so I am quite pleased.

Surface tests and formats were all quick ..I wanted to be and running ...so not very good tests

So Far So Good system was bottlenecking at Hard Drive, Boot was slow, opening extensive apps was slow (Adobe Photoshop 2017 e.g.) ; Boot speed much faster, Photoshop opened much faster..; never got to compare this to a ssd drive (which I thought I was buying stupid me)...

How long will this last That we shall see..; I will write back if the time comes; No Con here it is May 2019 and still running quietly and good as ever

Standard hard drive, seems to run well, plenty of room for my needs, kind of loud.

A good drive for everyday use in a modern fast computer. Have trusted Seagate drives for a number of years now. The only downside is that they are not backed by a better warranty given the fact that they have obviously improved their design and durability.

The hard drive is a bit rattly, sounds like it is on its way out already, but time will tell

Had one of these (older version) on the Scan PC that I had built for me. It was great until it failed; that is intermittently the drive would drop out of the boot sequence. I downloaded the Seagate software to check it out and it was not repairable, and was getting worse.
