Almost too easy to use?
Just got this recently and have backed up my laptop a couple of times. Seems almost too easy and too fast... not sure if I've done it properly but it says that everything was backed up! Would highly recommend it!
USB drive
This external usb harddrive is detected automatically by my Windows computer without need to install any driver or need to reboot my machine. The drive is super fast and does not make a lot of noise. I ran it for over hours and it feel warm but not hot to touch.

Like its 1TB compatriot in the super-sized portables group the Backup Plus 500GB left nearly every other drive in its wake when it came to our performance tests. Works until it dies then your SOL
Great to use for a backup if you do not need the information on it. Or if you have an extra $600.00 lying around to pay seagate to try and get the information back, if it's even possible. It's the last Seagate product I'll ever buy.- It worked good for a year

Really nice portable notebook drive. I love the finish on the case. A little worried that the adapter connection to the hard drive might get loose over time, but other then that it is an awesome product. If i have the chance, i'll probably purchase another in the future.

The drive is slick, attaches seamlessly to my Mac and my PC without having to format the drive or losing any previously backed up data. Thin and decently portable as well. Very happy with my purchase.
