Quit after a exactly a month
Worked fine for about a month. Just as I was finishing copying my old external 160GB drive to this new one, it stopped working. The drive does not spin up, is not recognized by the computer, the light on the front keeps blinking, and the drive makes beeping sounds, almost like a busy phone.
Pros:
- usb3 inexpensive fast

Disappointed
Sadly this did not work when arrived (did not power up), so can not comment on its performance. The Desktop Drive from Seagate is nice, and lets gives me a whopping 4TB space to store all my vital back up.

Seagate Backup Plus Desktop 3TB - External 3.5 Inch Drive - Black
This unit is the "Back Up Plus" which is much better than the cheaper "Expansion" drive at a better price. Very happy with the unit very easy plug and play. Chuffed with the price, absolute bargain.
