Backup Disk Works Well With Ubuntu Laptop
I'm using this with my Ubuntu (Linux) laptop, so the software that came with it is not in use. The hardware performs perfectly with Deja Dup backup manager. The drive seems completely compatible with Ubuntu.

Flawless Operation
Purchased the drive a few months ago. The device works through a USB 3.0 port that is backward compatible with my USB 2.0 ports. The included software is simple to use, quietly backing up the files I asked it to. It works quietly, with only a small hum when working hard.

This seagate 2terabyte backup plus is simple and very easy to use. It may be a bit weighty to carry around but i've been able to save all my music, all my pictures, all my documents and even a whole lot of full length, high quality movies and I've still got many many more space.

Great Storage at Great Price
Purchased for $100 on Black Friday online. Great, convenient purchase experience with quick delivery ... Fired right up out of the box and have had no problems since. Rapid 2.0 and especially 3.0 usb transfers with good dashboard interface software - Love it and love what I paid for it

Great value storage device for backing up large amounts of data. Have been filling it none stop since it arrived. No problems to report.

Absolutely great product
This is the 2nd purchase of this item and I am totally satisfied with both of them. I use one to store all of my videos and the new one to back up everything else. Haven't had a single problem from either of them. I would recommend them to my friends.

a great drive at a good price
I am a big fan of the seagate drives, the ones where the base connects into the drive- as you can remove the hard drive part and add what ever drive you want, so for example a friend comes over with a broken laptop, you can pull out the drive and stick it on the seagate dock and immediately access...

Great back-up control
The Dashboard control panel is very easy to use and allows either continuous or periodic back up. Just started using and looks really nice. If performance crashes I'll give a follow up review.
