cannot install linux into this. i am trying to install, rather than just a boot-able installation drive. this works on my other sandisk drive, but not on this one.

The main problem with this drive is that it doesn't fit snugly into the USB port, and the shape of the plastic part is designed in such a way that makes it ineffective as a mechanism to stop the drive from being dislodged.

This is such necessary kit for anyone to own. It holds tons of photos or MP3 music files. I've transferred all my CDs to Mp3s and with this I can take my whole collection everywhere and yet the device is smaller than my thumbnail.

Excellent value for money from Curries, so much so, I bought 2; The item is very discreet when sitting in the USB port on a laptop and very comfortable being left in place rather than removing it every time; Appears to be very robust like many Sandisk products.

Got this to plug into a pico projector, keep it small, works well. Moved files on and off, played files from it, no problems. Surprisingly it gets kind of warm when you move large files, perhaps it is just the fact that it is small and all most all of the chip is in the metal USB plug.
