SanDisk sent their Ultra 64GB USB 3.0 make of their ultra series flash drives, which is advertised to be up to 4 times faster than USB 2.0 drives in comparison to their Cruzer USB 2.0 counterparts. However for such flash drives, any brands mostly point out the read speed.

I loaded a number of files on the flash drive and the first time that I tried to review the files, I could not access the drive, then could not even erase and reformat the drive. Costco's return policy has been great.

Before buying this flash drive I have using the 32 Gb USB 2.0 version of SanDisk with very positive results. When I saw this 64 Gb UDB 3.0 I decided to buy it and test it. It is very big in space and the most important of all IT IS REALLY FAST. The only thing is that is formatted in FAT 32.

With USB3 and memory that is plenty fast enough, this USB stick is good value. The encryption software is a bonus.
