Don't buy this before you read the reviews! I realized that this simple and "used to be" perfect devise is now loaded with extra garbage that "keeps your files safe" - rather, keeps them from you using them.

Sure this key does hold data, you can plug it in ok (as long as the piece of plastic locking the plug holds out) and it does whatever any other 10 pound USB stick does.. The protection software provided with the key is rubbish!
Great USB stick from a trusted manufacturer, I have a few more SanDisk sticks and they never let me down. Very reliable at a great price point.

Small and lightweight; Five year warranty; Reasonably priced
Slow write speeds; Exposed USB connector
Admins have a few choices here. 1. Ban the blighters. 2. Don't ban them but make sure people use company drives. 3. Add encryption into that mix, surely the best choice of all. Whatever path is chosen, policies will be needed to manage them, or enforce their absence.
Most people these days carry a USB flash drive around with them. For laptop or Tablet PC users they've become as much a commodity as say sugar or oil.[...]
Introduction As you can tell if you've been following our latest reviews, small portable storage solutions have been popular around here. We are very impressed and happy with the flash USB drives we've reviewed so far, and they are all similar in many ways.
Upgradeable storage capacity; Cool design; Convenient and flexible; Easy to use; especially with newer O/S's like Windows XP; 2 year warranty; USB extension cable and travel case included
USB extension cable will probably be too short for users with USB ports in back of PC; Moving parts could break although
USB drives are wonderful things. SanDisk is one of the biggest names in USB drives, and I must say I am very happy with mine. I purchased it on sale and got the 512 Mb version for $17. 99 (after rebate), not a bad price at all. In retrospect, however, I wonder if I should have gotten a larger model.
