used it, stored it, 3 months later, tried to use it again, the connection simply broke off, thought the disk was burnt or broken, turns out the connection was loose and broke off.

I use this with my BootCamp Windows 10 install on my MacBook Pro to run GTA V off of (so that I don't have to dedicate an more space to the bootcamp partition). Honestly, the load times are almost as fast as if I was running it straight off the internal SSD.

This unit provides what it promises. Fast data transfer. I selected this to replace a hard drive as I have had a couple of drives fail on me. Since it doesn't have moving parts I have high expectations that this will be more reliable as a portable drive.

SanDisk is well known for its flash memory, and the Extreme 500 is a portable SSD which joins the ranks of the company's well-known SD cards and USB flash drives. Unlike many portable drives, this one should withstand life on the road as it's both dust and water (well, splash) resistant.

I love the device, its actually smaller then the photo presented. Great Job SanDisk , keep bring down the prices, the era of disc's should be done by now.
