Great for night photography

I bought this lens to use with my Nikon D7100 for milky way photography. The lens exceeded my expectations-- it was easy to use and the images were phenomenal-- a great angle of view and sharp detail. I could not be happier.

another good lens from SamYang/Walimex/Rokinon

sharp; contrasty; nice format this is a very good Ultra Wide and much better than Sigma 10 20 at 10mm It is also better than Sigma 8 16 at 10mm (but Sigma is also very very good

like every SY distance scale needs to be calibrated with Live View/ Contrast detect; but after that has been done...perfect

Manual zoom is easy as long as the subject is not moving

Outstanding lens for its price. Manual zoom is easy as long as the subject is not moving. For it's price is unbeatable.
