Solid performance and thin, clean design
We wanted a small-ish bedroom TV that performs well and is reasonably thin. We looked at the current (2012) Samsung models, which review well but are nearly four inches thick, and Panasonic's, which are thin but get mediocre feedback.

Great TV for the Price
We did not need the fanciest (Smart) tv. Did not need the largest one. The 40 series Samsung was the right fit and purpose for us. It also matches up well with our Samsung Blu-ray player.

Most excellent value!
Absolutely the best TV for the money! This was an upgrade from my previous Samsung 40" 720p I purchased 6 years ago for over 3x the price.... Could not ask for a better upgrade. Opted away from a smart model since, as we all do by now, I have multiple other internet connected devices.

Samsung 40" TV
Purchased this Samsung tv to replace an old sony 32" tv. Received tv in 2 days after on-line purchase. Quick and easy setup and tv working in just a few minutes after opening box.

Samsung Tv Great picture
the single button for everything gets old very quickly. you have one button a track point for power and for choosing input

Cons:
- It's a basic model Samsung Tv only has three connections 2 hdmi and 1 component so you can't connect your pc.

No Warranty in India
The warranty mentioned at the time of placing the order does not match the actual warranty of the product.<br />This product is imported from some other country and being sold in india at low price. It has international warranty but that warranty is not covered in india.
