Samsung Q60A series (2021) review: QLED TV brings out HDR brightness, color

The Samsung Q60A is its entry-level QLED model, aka an LCD TV with quantum dots. Those magical dots let the Q60A perform better than many traditional LCDs that cost less, with far greater brightness and deeper, richer colors with HDR content. Its skinny design also separates it from its bulkier brethren.

The least expensive QLED is a solid choice for Samsung fans, but other TVs are better values for the money.

Size does matter

This is a really big TV and it does not disappoint. As an upgrade from our old failing 60" plasma this is a vast upgrade in smart features and picture quality. Having all of the streaming channels in one place without the need for extra set top boxes and chrome-castes is a big plus. Watching 4K movies at this size is awesome!

Looking for a great TV in the mid price range? Very happy with the Samsung QLED. All rounder with ex qualities for gaming.

Really nice TV

Really big screen. Easy to setup (although need at least 2 people to get it out of box and ready to be watched) and seamless to use. Going great so far (owned for 3 weeks) and no issues. Happy with the picture quality and functionality. Will be interesting to see how long the remote lasts in winter with limited sunshine available to charge the remote.
